SwiftMR® Information Security Whitepaper
Security and Data Protection for Enterprise MRI AI
Deploying AI across an enterprise MRI environment requires clear answers about patient data, system architecture, access controls, security monitoring, and operational resilience.
The SwiftMR Information Security Whitepaper provides IT, security, privacy, and imaging leaders with a detailed view of how SwiftMR protects data across cloud and on-premises deployments.
Understand How SwiftMR Protects Patient Data
For cloud-based deployments, identifiable PHI is removed from DICOM data within the hospital environment before images are transmitted to the SwiftMR Cloud Server. Re-identification occurs on-premises, and the mapping information required to re-identify the data remains within the customer environment. The SwiftMR cloud service is designed not to store, transmit, or display PHI/PII.
What the Whitepaper Covers
Cloud and on-premises security architecture
PHI/PII handling and de-identification
AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit
Identity and access management, MFA, and enterprise SSO
Backup, disaster recovery, and recovery objectives
Penetration testing and vulnerability management
24/7 security monitoring and incident response
AI governance under ISO/IEC 42001
Information security certifications and attestations
Shared responsibility across AIRS Medical, the cloud provider, and the customer
