Physician-scientist, neuroradiologist, and former Microsoft and Google healthcare executive brings deep expertise in AI, imaging, data, and enterprise technology strategy
CHICAGO — October 20, 2026 — AIRS Medical, a leader in AI-powered medical imaging, today announced the appointment of Gregory J. Moore, MD, PhD, a physician-scientist, neuroradiologist, engineer, and healthcare technology executive, to its Advisory Board.
Dr. Moore is a physician-scientist, neuroradiologist, engineer, and healthcare technology executive with a career spanning clinical medicine, imaging science, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and enterprise healthcare transformation. Through senior leadership roles across global technology and healthcare organizations, he has helped shape how advanced technologies are developed, integrated, and scaled in real-world clinical environments.
Dr. Moore currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Gates Ventures, with particular focus on initiatives involving Alzheimer’s disease, artificial intelligence, imaging modalities, and data platforms. He is also a Professor of Radiology at Penn State College of Medicine.
Dr. Moore joins AIRS Medical as the company advances its enterprise MRI strategy. Imaging organizations are managing increasingly complex environments across vendors, field strengths, scanner generations, protocols, sites, workflows, and data systems. As MRI becomes more quantitative and longitudinal, the opportunity is to create greater consistency across that complexity while building a foundation from which imaging can deliver increasingly meaningful intelligence over time.
“We are building the future of MRI — one where imaging becomes more consistent, more intelligent, and more valuable across the enterprise,” said Jason Park, CEO of AIRS Medical. “That means helping organizations get more from the infrastructure they already own while creating a foundation for the next generation of quantitative, longitudinal, and AI-enabled imaging. Gregory has helped shape healthcare technology at an extraordinary scale, and his perspective will be invaluable as we continue building that future.”
Prior to his work with Gates Ventures, Dr. Moore served as Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Health & Life Sciences from 2019 to 2023, with responsibilities spanning strategy, research and development collaborations, AI and machine learning, cloud, and data. Before Microsoft, he served as Vice President and founder of Google Cloud Healthcare & Life Sciences, leading the organization globally.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Moore served as Chief Emerging Technology and Informatics Officer at Geisinger Health System, where he also practiced as a neuroradiologist. His career has consistently bridged clinical practice and technology, giving him firsthand experience with both the potential of emerging innovation and the practical requirements for bringing it into complex healthcare environments.
“Gregory brings a rare perspective across medicine, imaging, science, and some of the world’s most influential technology organizations,” said Jina Park, Chief Strategy Officer at AIRS Medical. “He understands what it takes to move from innovation to infrastructure — connecting AI, data, technology, and clinical practice in ways that can scale. That experience is especially relevant as we work with large imaging organizations to create greater consistency across complex MRI environments and build a more intelligent foundation for what comes next.”
Dr. Moore is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology, Neuroradiology, and Clinical Informatics. His academic background further reflects the breadth of his expertise: he earned a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering and a PhD in Radiological Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine.
“We are at an important point in healthcare where advances in AI, imaging, and data are beginning to converge in ways that can fundamentally change what is possible,” said Gregory J. Moore, MD, PhD. “Real impact will depend on our ability to translate those advances into trusted technologies that integrate with clinical practice and can scale across complex healthcare environments. I’m excited to join AIRS Medical’s Advisory Board and contribute to that work.”
Dr. Moore’s appointment further strengthens AIRS Medical’s Advisory Board with expertise spanning clinical medicine, imaging science, artificial intelligence, data, and enterprise technology. His perspective will help inform the company’s strategy as AIRS Medical works to address the growing need for greater performance, consistency, scalability, and intelligence across increasingly complex MRI environments.
