About Dr. Ajit Shankaranarayanan

Dr. Ajit Shankaranarayanan is Chief Product Officer of AIRS Medical, a global AI medical imaging company advancing MRI through SwiftMR® and SwiftSight®. He brings more than 30 years of experience across medical imaging, artificial intelligence, product development and advanced imaging technologies.

Ajit received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and has built his career at the intersection of imaging science, technology, clinical needs and business strategy. He has held leadership roles at GE Healthcare, HealthLytix and Subtle Medical, helping develop and commercialize technologies across MRI, AI-powered image enhancement, quantitative imaging and clinical workflow.

At AIRS Medical, Ajit leads global product strategy and portfolio development, focusing on how emerging AI and imaging technologies can be translated into scalable solutions for real clinical and operational needs across MRI and radiology.
