Distinguished neuroradiologist, educator, and radiology leader brings deep clinical expertise as AIRS Medical advances AI-powered MRI and quantitative imaging
CHICAGO — October 13, 2026 — AIRS Medical, a leader in AI-powered MRI solutions, today announced the appointment of Ann K. Jay, MD, Clinical Professor of Radiology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and incoming Professor of Radiology and Director of Head and Neck Imaging at Columbia University, to its Advisory Board.
Dr. Jay is a nationally recognized neuroradiologist with subspecialty expertise in head and neck and skull base imaging. She currently serves as Co–Section Chief of Neuroradiology at the American College of Radiology Institute for Radiologic Pathology (AIRP), is a board member of the Radiology Leadership Institute, and serves on the executive committee of the Intersociety Committee. In January 2027, she will join Columbia University as Professor of Radiology and Director of Head and Neck Imaging.
Dr. Jay’s appointment comes as AIRS Medical expands its focus from MRI acceleration and image enhancement toward a broader MRI intelligence platform. By addressing variability across vendors, field strengths, scanner generations, and acquisition protocols, AIRS Medical is working to help imaging organizations standardize MRI performance across heterogeneous fleets while building the foundation for reproducible quantitative and longitudinal imaging at enterprise scale.
“Dr. Jay joins AIRS Medical at an important point in our evolution,” said Jina Park, Chief Strategy Officer at AIRS Medical. “Imaging organizations are managing increasingly complex MRI environments across multiple vendors, field strengths, scanner generations, protocols, and sites, while still being expected to deliver a consistent standard of care. Our focus is on helping them get more performance, consistency, and intelligence from the MRI infrastructure they already own. Dr. Jay brings the clinical leadership and perspective that will be critical as we continue building technology that can scale across these environments and support radiologists with reliable information throughout the patient journey.”
“As imaging organizations grow, patients may be examined on different scanners, at different locations, and at different points in their care,” said Ann K. Jay, MD. “For radiologists, the ability to maintain consistency across those environments is increasingly important, particularly when we are evaluating change over time. I am pleased to join AIRS Medical’s Advisory Board and contribute a clinical perspective as the company works to make advanced MRI technology more consistent, scalable, and meaningful across the imaging enterprise.”
Throughout her career, Dr. Jay has held numerous leadership positions spanning clinical practice and medical education, including Vice Chair of Education, Chief of the Division of Neuroradiology, Program Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency, and Medical School Education Director. She has delivered invited lectures nationally and internationally and has received multiple teaching awards.
Dr. Jay’s addition to the Advisory Board further strengthens AIRS Medical’s collaboration with clinical leaders as the company builds a broader MRI intelligence platform — connecting image acquisition and enhancement with standardized quantitative analysis and longitudinal assessment across the imaging enterprise. SwiftMR® provides the foundation for that platform, helping imaging organizations improve image quality and acquisition efficiency across diverse MRI fleets. SwiftSight® extends that foundation into quantitative and longitudinal imaging, creating a pathway from consistent image generation to reproducible imaging intelligence across scanners, sites, and patient follow-up.
